Mimmo Scali is a highly talented and innovative artist who has made a name for himself with his captivating abstract and contemporary paintings. Born in 1987 in Montreal, Quebec, Scali has always had a strong interest in visual art and began exploring his creative talents at a young age.

Scali was diagnosed with dyschromatopsia, a vision abnormality that affects the perception of colors, at the age of 12. Although this difficulty presented a challenge at the beginning of his artistic career, he was able to overcome it and continue to marvel at the world of color. For him, color is a source of life, spontaneity, passion, and happiness.

To fully appreciate Scali’s work, one must have a love of color that goes beyond its ability to simply tell a story or illustrate a subject. His paintings are filled with colors that express emotions and immediately evoke a response in the viewer, without the need for verbalization.
